Professor in Mathematics of Life (E&R)

The LSI is seeking to appoint a Professor of Mathematics of Life, based in the interdisciplinary Living Systems Institute and affiliated to the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The chosen candidate will support research and teaching that explores the mechanisms underpinning phenomena in biological systems. Research that develops and applies high dimensional data analysis techniques including topological data analysis, dynamical systems modelling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques are of particular interest, but applications are welcome from a broad range of areas.
