Postdoctoral Research Fellow (P75403) Location: Living Systems Institute Industry: HE Occupational Category: Research The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences wishes to recruit a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow (P75403) to investigate the biology of pluripotency in the research team of Prof Austin Smith. This European Research Council-funded post is available from 3 October 2022 to 31 December 2025. The post will be based in the interdisciplinary Living Systems Institute in Exeter. The successful applicant will lead a programme of investigations into the comparative biology of pluripotency and pluripotent stem cells in different mammals. A key goal will be to establish and validate naïve pluripotent stem cells from non-human primates and from livestock species using pluripotency network resetting and somatic cell reprogramming approaches.
